In the Beginning...
Every story has a beginning. So does ours. Before mountains were raised... Before oceans were filled... Before the first heartbeat... Before the first sunrise... There was God. He spoke, and light burst into darkness. He filled the skies with stars, the seas with life, and the earth with beauty. Then He created mankind—not by accident or chance, but in His own image—to know Him, walk with Him, and enjoy Him forever. And it was very good.
The Story Was Broken
Every story has conflict. Ours began in a garden. Humanity chose its own way over God's. Sin entered the world. The relationship was broken. Shame replaced innocence. Death replaced life. The world has carried that brokenness ever since. Every war. Every tear. Every funeral. Every broken home. Every guilty conscience. Every longing for "something more." The world is not the way it was meant to be. Neither are we.
The King Entered His Story
But God was not finished. Throughout history, he made a promise. A Deliverer was coming. Then, at just the right time... Jesus was born. Not merely another teacher. Not merely another prophet. God Himself stepped into His own story. He healed the sick. Welcomed the outcast. Loved the sinner. Confronted evil. Taught with authority. And lived the only perfectly sinless life.
The Cross
Then the greatest act of love in history happened.
Jesus willingly gave His life on the cross.
The punishment our sins deserved fell upon Him.
Justice was satisfied.
Mercy was offered.
The innocent died for the guilty.
Not because we deserved it.
Because He loved us.
Death Was Not the End
Three days later...
The tomb was empty.
Jesus rose from the dead.
Death was defeated.
Sin lost its grip.
Hope was restored.
The greatest story ever told became the greatest victory ever won.
The Invitation
This isn't simply a story to admire.
It's an invitation to deny yourself and TRUST.
Jesus invites every person to turn from sin, trust Him, and follow Him.
Not because we can earn His love.
Because He freely offers it.
Anyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness, new life, and the promise of eternity with Him.
Our Belief
We believe every great story points beyond itself.
Every tale of sacrifice whispers of a greater sacrifice.
Every rescue reminds us of a greater rescue.
Every king echoes a greater King.
Every home hints at a greater Home.
Every happily ever after leaves us longing for one that never ends.
Every great story is ultimately pointing to Jesus.
